One of the things that I really love about writing exam prep books is the opportunity to not just teach the test, but help people understand the broader concepts around it–and provide a reference tool that you can use after the exam. To that end, I’ve made two chapters of the book available as free training (at the end of the blog post).

My favorite chapter our new MS-900 book is the one that starts exploring Zero Trust principles. In the most recent version of the MS-900 exam (released October 2023), Microsoft moved Zero Trust principles from being a top-level study topic to just a bullet point under another area.
While we tend to write exam prep books that follow the Microsoft blueprint and study guide, I thought that this topic is so important, it still necessitated its own chapter (despite its lowered exam weight).
If you’re unfamiliar with Zero Trust principles (or want to know if the MS-900 exam is right for you), feel free to grab these resources. You can also read it inside the whole book’s context, if you’re so inclined. 🙂
